Back to the siege, tired of waiting I decide to try selling my prisoners at Yalen, this is a Rhodok city and they don’t want to let me in so I head back. On the Mount & Blade wiki it tells you these, and suggests combinations that will work well together. All the special characters have feelings towards all the others, sometimes positive, sometimes negative. I tell Artimenner not to pick fights with Jeremus anymore, this isn’t really a good solution, but as long as their morale stays high neither will want to leave. Just before we go back to the map screen Artimenner wants a word, he’s not happy with the way Jeremus is practising medicine, Artimenner prefers the methods of past great physicians whereas Jeremus bases it on his own judgement and experience.

Mount and blade rhodok mods#
Surely a seasoned soldier is worth more than a random bandit? I’ll have to look into any mods that might cover this. One of the things I don’t like about the prisoner trading is the fact that everyone is worth the same amount, 50 denars. When the armies clash it is quick and brutal, victory is soon ours, I capture a few of the survivors. They are coming towards us, I fire off a few crossbow bolts but don’t engage. The Swadians hold their position at the edge of the playing area, they have a strange tendancy to do this, I order my men to hold position nearby and I head off to see where the enemy are. Then two of the armies head off to attack a nearby group of Rhodok, they outnumber them 176-36 so I decide to join in. When you are not moving on the map screen in Mount & Blade the game pauses, in order to wait you hold down the space bar, we stay put for three whole days. It’s then that I notice that one of the parties is headed by the King of Swadia. I follow them, deep into Rhodok territory, and soon we are once again seiging a castle. Unfortunately the party makes it to a nearby castle, we siege it for a while then the group moves on. Once you swear loyalty to one of the factions you are able to join their fights, this is a great way to practice against high level troops. When you are independent you can only join fights involving caravans, bandits, manhunters and the such. I come across three swadian armies chasing after a Rhodok party. I decide to head for Rhodok territory and see what I find. I’m in the position where the size of my party makes me too slow to take on the smaller bandit groups, and yet I’m still not big or experienced enough to take on faction armies. I started off today, unsure of what to do next.
